Annette's Granola Cereal

granola cereal24.JPG

I am very careful when choosing cereal for my boys...One of the reason is because it's so easy to give them the wrong one, because that is exactly what they will choose. Cereal has a lot of sugar and is not really a food recommended by pediatricians. Of course there are better options when it comes to cereal, but the question is, will they eat it? Here is a great alternative... I love this cereal and so do my boys and the best part is that I make it at home and I know exactly what I add to my organic oats. Here is the recipe and please pass it on to your family and friends.

Ingredients you need:

2 cups Organic whole grain oats

1/3 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons organic honey

1 egg

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
